Lie or sit comfortably Close your eyes Make no effort to control your breath, simply breathe naturally Focus on your breath. On how your body moves with each inhalation, and exhalation. Notice the movement of your body as you breathe. Observe.. Chest, shoulders, ribs, stomach. Simply focus on your breath without trying to control it. Now count your 'out' breaths. If your mind wanders, and you lose count, just start again. Try to get to 100 at first, just to get used to the technique. Then progress to 200, 300, 400!
